Question by tim: Is Marantz a high quality brand?
I have a laserdisc player that was a Christmas gift in the 90′s. It is Marantz brand. It’s always worked well. I was just curious if Marantz is in general a high quality brand like Pioneer since I hadn’t heard of it before.

Yes, they had been around for years making high-end equipment. Cannot swear for their latest offerings however for the consumer driven market, where they have a hard time competing with the Panasonics of the electronics world.

Yes you can:

1. Get a mini-Jack 3.5mm to RCA Connector (Radio Shack – <)
2. Plug one part of it into the inputs of the receiver (match the colors - Red=Right, White=Left)
3. Plug the mini-jack into the ipod
4. turn on the receiver
5. Turn on the ipod
6. Press Play - you're all set
