music by dj poska intro of album “funky sensacion” receiver marantz 4400 factory 1974 number 216 santiago de chile.
how do you unluck?
How are the preamp? Are they noisy?
i got this recorder..it works pretty damn good!!
@dJef182 maybe they have best variation in thw way they spread the soundwave/
yikes I sound stupid……theres a pink floyd song shown on a marantz 4400 buts its very boring to watch
@moparland well what do you think. its good enough to have a damned actual green tv screen scope in it. hmmm?
the 4400 (mine also had a green scope) has a better sound than a 2600. maybe blue scopes were the u.s.-version?
I hope this Marantz wasn’t seriously damaged by the music you chose?
why is it- that without exception, people always choose completely crappy music to demonstrate this marvelous technology.
why do I need a scope?
i just got one mine has not been used until 2 years ago its been sitting since 1976 looks likethe day it was made and works that way to
im thinkin of gettin a marantz sr4023 stereo amp. does any1 no if it sounds good?
Fun to see – I too have a 4400, only the scope on mine is blue, not green… works perfectly.
This is a CRT (Cathodic Ray Tube)like used in commom TVs.
lol what liquid contains that thing ??? or is a digital lcd
)
I own this one too… just wonder why the picture here is green, whereas on mine it’s blue??
I wish my scope on my 4400 worked this well.
I have a 4400… you want to see the coolest possible view on the scope, get to the part of Eagles Hotel CA with quad source material… when you get to the part where the drums kick in after “can’t kill the beast” the display EXPLODES out to the upper left and then rotate clockwise. PERFECT…
Beautiful, It looks like something from outer space. – Marantz should try to build Audio Systems like this again. – Thanks for posting.
nice reciever
nice, i have a blue marantz 4400
